Every month the members of Lacrosse meet up for the prestigious voting and award ceremony “Lacrosse member of the month”. The winner is awarded with a golden statuette and motivations. The member who has made the most effort and worked the hardest during the past month wins the award and holds a speech.

November 2008, December 2008, January 2009, February 2009

We have been recording and doing other stuff. No winner has been rewarded with the finest of statues: The Golden Lacrosse member statue.

October 2008: Siegmar.

A surprise winner! Our favourite Wetzlar resident Siegmar visited us at our show in Barcelona. What a great treat! He won this month’s honorary Lacrosse member prize. Hope to see you again soon!

August - September 2008: No winner.

A break from the traditional voting of the member of the month ceremony. No winner. But then again: no loser!

July 2008: Tobias Henriksson.

Ah! One could listen to the magic sound of his drums for months. And this month we listened a little bit closer and rewarded him with the finest of honors: Member of the month! He was also one heck of a driver on the “wrong” side of the road in the UK. Overall good guy…

June 2008: Lacrosse.

This month we couldn’t decide who earned the title “Member of the month” the most so we decided to share it. A little collective tap on the back. Thank you… thank you…

May 2008: Henrik.

Awarded for his brilliance with everything concerning the guitar; buying equipment, playing solos and making interresting new sounds. But he also got the prize for some cosmetic changes in his appearance. He has always been one good looking guy but now he’s known as the Adonis of Lacrosse.

April 2008: Tobias.

A landslide! Tobias won comfortably and all the members voted unanimously in favour of the drummer. He got a lot of his votes from terrific work with producing and engineering early recordings of new Lacrosse songs. But he’s also hell of a guy and spends a lot of time fixing things that will benefit the band for a long time to come…

March 2008: Rickard.

Yet again has Rickard been rewarded for heroic driving and fantastic live performances. But also for his efforts in ensuring that his understudys in Berlin and England will play the right keyboard notes. His greatest accomplishment though is trying to reassure the world of a whole new generation of Lacrossians.

February 2008: Robert.

A hell of a guy. He always kept the band in a good mood with jokes and optimistic thinking while touring through Europe this February. He also played the bass extra ordinary well and made some wonderful decisions that effected the band so much and in such a good way that he really earned the prize this month.

January 2008: Henrik and Kristian.

It has happened again. This month we had a joint winner of the prize and this time it was the two guitar players who won with 3 votes each. Henrik got the prize for his outstanding work in the editing room which almost made him loose his mind. And Kristian won some votes for the work on the new homepage.

December 2007 : Nina and Rickard.

The first ever shared member of the month prize. Rickard and Nina won together with two votes each. Rickard was awarded for excellent driving skills on the tour and his fabulous stage performance. Nina was awarded for her constant hard work with all things big and small and also for some new crazy moves such as the “monkey dance”.
